The story continues. CinderTelly is friends with three mice, who help him with his housework. Then a messenger comes to announce that every boy and girl in the kingdom is invited to the palace for a ball in honor of the princess, who is new in town and wants to make friends. CinderTelly thinks he can't go because he doesn't know how to dance, but that doesn't matter--it's a bowling ball.
A little girl imagines what would happen if she dropped her bag of ping pong balls.

He tells CinderTelly to clean them up and put sparkly things on them, maybe some odor eaters on the shoes--recycle the outfit and it will be good as new. The mice offer to help. CinderTelly asks Whamo if he could recycle his hair into a pompadour, but Whamo is only a magician, not a beautician.

With CinderTelly dressed in his bowling outfit, Whamo thinks his work is done, until CinderTelly says he'll need a bowling ball. Whamo asks for the assistance of one of the mice, so he can turn him into a bowling ball. Whamo turns the mouse into a baseball instead. He turns the second mouse into a football, and the third mouse into a basketball. Now, with no more mice, Whamo's next trick produces a piece of paper--a gift certificate for Eddie's Bowl & Stroll Gift Shop.

She found him and they became best friends. Telly announces the end of the story prematurely--Flo announces the sponsors, and Telly correctly cheers the end of the story.
